A good chatbot that will provide your customers with a positive, memorable experience may require in-house development or – in the case of pre-developed tools – complicated implementation. Auto-moderation can be applied to private messages, comments, mentions, and reviews – its role can be compared to that of a community moderator. Automated moderation rules employ simple logic to quickly provide your online community with answers to predictable questions, reduce your response times, and easily boost the quality of your customer service. Each rule works on the same model: specific user actions trigger specific automatic reactions. Here’s an example: you can define the trigger “comment added to any post on my Facebook Page containing the keyword amazing” to set off the automatic reaction: “reply to comment with: [@user], thank you so much for your opinion!”.

It can help you deal with simple and repetitive tasks like hiding offensive comments, deleting spam, and answering your customers’ simple questions.
